JAMES STEWART – ‘It’s Only Paint” – solo show

For this exhibition James has been busy painting fresh new work and has decided to go back to basics and have a Still Life exhibition revelling in the simple art of just looking intensely and going for pure painting.

Our annual pick of the very best new graduates from around the top art colleges. This has become an eagerly anticipated exhibition in the Dartmouth galleries calendar.

November 2011 PALETTE TO PALATE – Food exhibition
Back due to public demand is our original food exhibition. Famous chefs donate recipes to our artists to incorporate into works of Art. We have already got some great names involved.. more soon.

A celebration exhibition of some of Sir Peter’s greatest silkscreen print. Showcasing the breadth of his work and styles.

We have some great portraits by BP Portrait Awards artist James Stewart on display. Exhibits also include a new range of Bill Bate’s stunning figure paintings and some exceptional handblown glass by internationally renowned glass blower, Will Shakspeare. Pamela Lawton is showcasing her popular porcelain figurines and Dan Wheatley’s brushless painting technique is illustrated in his skyscapes.

An exhibition featuring the breadth of the animal world but also human/animal hybrids and whatever the artists wish to invent. A group exhibition featuring work by well known artists alongside the stars of tomorrow. It offers a range of styles and compositions by artists pushing the boundaries of what is possible in modern day silkscreen and digital printing.

Rising Stars 2018

‘RISING STARS’ is a graduate exhibition of students that have graduated this year from colleges across the U.K. The Graduates in 2018: Jixuan Chen (Wimbledon), Zundel De Freitas (Goldsmiths), Juliet Gibbs (Falmouth), Chae Lee (Goldsmiths), Elizabeth Leonard (Hertfordshire Uni), Debbie Ng (Staffordshire Uni), Jasper Pedyo (Leeds Arts Uni), Abbie Schug (Northampton Uni) &  Rex Southwick (Leeds Arts Uni).

CONNECT ART FAIR 2019

The inaugural Connect art fair took off from a group of galleries that used to show at the Works on Paper Fair. Decamped to the Mall Galleries in London, over 30 galleries and dealers exhibited a wealth of talent scoured from auctions, private purchases and living artists. A great collection of work.

An exhibition devoted to the bronze sculptural work of Janis Ridley. Leading U.K. sculptress Janis Ridley takes inspiration from the human form, relationships, family, the horse, birds, a sense of belonging & the union between mother and child.

ALISON PULLEN – SOLO EXHIBITION – MAY 2023

Alison’s unique take on interiors combining a method of collage and painting has proved immensely popular. A long overdue solo show shows the depth of her talent across a multitude of paintings depicting both public and private interiors. Alison is also always interested in exploring private commissions.

JAMES STEWART – SOLO EXHIBITION – OCTOBER 2023

For this exhibition James has taken inspiration from the buildings of the Mediterranean and the barns of Lancashire and Devon. Many of the Mediterranean works are inspired by his late father’s sketches whilst hitchhiking around Europe in the 1950’s and to him this show is dedicated.
